Central Railway and Western Railway will conduct Mumbai Mega Block and Jumbo Block on most of the Sundays for the maintenance works of rail racks and other related works under both the Railway zones.
Central Railway’s Train Block is called ✅ Mega Block and Western Railway’s Train Block is called ✅ Jumbo Block.

VIDYAVIHAR – THANE (08:00 AM – 12:30 PM)
Central railways announced mega block between Vidyavihar and Thane from 8 AM and 12:30 PM on Up and Down Main Line (5th and 6th Lines)

The following trains will be diverted to the Up Fast Line at Thane, then re-diverted to the 6th Line at Vidyavihar, resulting in an estimated delay of 10 to 15 minutes:

Santacruz – Goregaon Stations Up and Down Fast Lines (10.00 Am – 03.00 Pm)
Western Railway has announced a five-hour Jumbo Block for maintenance work on tracks, signaling, and overhead equipment. The block will be implemented on the UP and DOWN Fast lines between Santacruz and Goregaon stations from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM on Sunday, 12th January 2025. During this period, all Fast line suburban trains will operate on the Slow line between Goregaon and Borivali stations. Additionally, some suburban trains will be canceled, and certain trains between Andheri and Borivali will terminate at Goregaon on the Harbour line.

Western Railway has announced a 4-hour block at Vapi station on Saturday, 11th January 2025, from 3:20 AM to 7:20 AM, and on Tuesday, 14th January 2025, from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM. During this period, the following trains will be regulated, rescheduled, short-terminated, or partially canceled.
